Our Story

At Whispering Valley Labradors, our love for Labrador Retrievers runs deep. We have been lifelong Labrador lovers, and our kennel is proudly connected with our grand kennel in Burlington, Colorado, where Roberta has been raising Labradors for the past 30 years. Through this connection, we have been blessed with guidance, experience, and a strong appreciation for responsible Labrador breeding.

Allison grew up with yellow Labs and has always loved the loyal, gentle, and family-centered nature of the breed. After completing her undergraduate degree at Chadron State College and adding Rocket to her family, she quickly realized that one of her passions was raising Labradors. Rocket’s loving personality and classic Labrador temperament confirmed what she already knew: Labs are truly special dogs.

Allison later met her companion in life, Jamie, who was raised in Scottsbluff. Together, they built a life centered around family, hard work, and their shared love for dogs. When the family relocated to Scottsbluff County for Allison to attend nursing school and continue finishing her MBA, they added Nova to their family. Before long, Rocket and Nova became the foundation of Whispering Valley Labradors, and puppies were on the way.

Allison and Jamie call both Scottsbluff and Chadron home, along with their son, Benjamin, who is growing up surrounded by the same love for Labradors that has meant so much to their family.

Today, Whispering Valley Labradors is built on family, love for the breed, and a commitment to raising healthy, well-socialized AKC registered Labrador Retrievers. Our puppies are raised with care, attention, and early socialization so they can become loyal companions and cherished members of their forever families.
